Unsolicited Invention Submission Terms & Conditions
Alowave Limited and its affiliates (collectively, “Alowave Limited”) appreciate the efforts of inventors who wish to submit potential projects for consideration. However, to ensure clarity and fairness, certain precautions must be taken before Alowave Limited can accept unsolicited ideas. As Alowave Limited continuously develops new products and enhances existing ones, it is possible that similar concepts may already be under development within the company. To prevent misunderstandings regarding the origin of an idea, you, as the inventor, must acknowledge and agree to the following terms as a condition for Alowave Limited considering your submission:
Ownership and Disclosure
You confirm that you are the sole creator and rightful owner of the submitted idea, invention, or device. You further warrant that you have the full legal right to disclose the idea to Alowave Limited and that your submission is not restricted by any confidentiality agreement or other limitations.
Public Domain and Prior Developments
You acknowledge that your idea may already be in the public domain, that Alowave Limited employees may currently be developing or may have previously developed a similar idea, and that Alowave Limited may have received similar submissions from other sources.
Intellectual Property Protection
You are solely responsible for securing any necessary protection for your intellectual property, including filing patent applications or securing relevant legal rights.
No Obligation to Disclose Internal Developments
Alowave Limited is under no obligation to disclose any of its existing patents, projects, or related developments that may be similar to your submission.
Submission Requirements
To enable a proper evaluation, you must provide a clear and detailed summary of the idea, invention, or device, accompanied by sketches or drawings. If available, a patent application and technical drawings are preferred. You confirm that you have retained a copy of all submitted materials, as Alowave Limited will not return any submitted documents.
No Obligation to Evaluate or Proceed
Alowave Limited is not obligated to evaluate your submission, nor is it required to take any further action beyond indicating whether there is an interest in pursuing it.
No Expectation of Compensation
You acknowledge that the acceptance or review of your submission does not imply any agreement for compensation or create any expectation of financial reward.
Waiver of Claims
You release and waive all potential claims, remedies, or causes of action against Alowave Limited, except for valid claims related to patent infringement under applicable law.
Non-Confidential Submission
You are submitting your idea on a non-confidential basis, and Alowave Limited will not review confidential information.
Governing Law
These terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Entire Agreement
You agree that there are no other agreements or understandings regarding your submission. Any previous agreements are superseded, and no modifications to these terms will apply unless formally agreed to in writing by both you and Alowave Limited.
By submitting your idea to Alowave Limited, you acknowledge and accept these terms and conditions in full.
